Renewable Energy Magazine - The inauguration of WElink Energy’s solar plant located in Ourique, southern Portugal, was held on Thursday 26th July 2018. The plant, which began construction in July 2017 and has been in operation since June, is the first plant on the Iberian Peninsula, and one of the largest in Europe, to develop without public subsidies.

PV Magazine - BayWa r.e. renewable energy GmbH has achieved financial close on €100 million construction bridge financing for its 174 MW solar PV project in Seville.
SolarNovus - This PPA is one of the first subsidy-free PPAs in the U.K., and it enables Doncaster Rovers to directly purchase the solar energy produced at rates 25% below grid-supplied energy prices. The PPA has also been expanded to include the older 50 kWp array – owned by the football club – into the terms of agreement.
